Hello,
I have a personal friend, high functioning cerebral palsy but as she ages, she is having more difficulty with fine motor skills noticing increased increased spastic movements, she calls them tremors, affecting her ability to interact with her android cell phone. She has a bigger keyboard and can use the bigger buttons but has many typing errors. Stabilizing her hand and using swype has not been helpful for her. In addition, she has difficulty with head tremors/head movements but does have a high back office chair at her computer station and a recliner. Head stability does improve with position and stabilization using a head rest, but she is not always seated position. medications include klonopin and baclofen. She also uses prescription no line bifocals. She is independently ambulatory without mobility devices at this time.
Speech is also variable which causes difficulty using her voice recognition and google voice to text. She has extreme variability in loudness as well as intelligibility, especially at night and when fatigued.
She has an android phone and a mac computer.
She is looking for affordable methods to interact with her android phone and her mac computer.
Not sure if I am overlooking something simple?
