Best practice is to trial several models from different eye tracking companies--request a trial from several, collect accuracy data and compare features.  Find out which was easiest to calibrate and use for the individual client.  Once many options are tried, then you both can be comfortable in making an informed decision.

Subject: eyegaze systems

 

What eyegaze system (combination of systems) would you recommend if money was not an issue (this would not have to be DME approved device or system).  I am working with a pALS who says she wants the top of the line equipment and is not concerned about cost.  She presently uses a Mac.
