Thank you so much. This particular patient is NOT an ALS patient, but I will give her your name if that is ok for the future. I really appreciate the link and that is great that Easter Seals has a location there!

Hi Carrie,

If any of her patients have ALS, I can certainly assist. For other populations, I’d recommend contacting Easter Seals of MA, who have a dedicated AAC program and just happen to have a Worcester office: https://www.easterseals.com/ma/who-we-are/locations/

Best,

Elisabeth

Subject: Help needed in MA???

Hello,

I was contacted by a former OT colleague who is working near Worcester, MA and is looking for assistance with AAC for some of her patients. She is very unfamiliar with it, and does not know of any SLPs in her area that are able to assist.

Is anyone in this group located anywhere near there and may be able to help? I tried giving as much guidance as I can via email, but told her I would reach out and see.

Please let me know if you are, and I can connect you. I told her to see if the patient could go to Boston Children’s Hospital but it doesn’t sound like that is an option right now.

Thanks so much!
