I know I solicited info on bidets a year or so ago on this listserv, but technology changes so much that I wanted to revisit this topic.

Of all the AT products I recommend, I get the most feedback on bidets – clients that use them love them!!!!  Recently our Chapter conducted focus groups throughout our services area (3 states). These groups were made up of people living with ALS, their caregivers, and past caregivers.  In all 8 groups, bidets were identified as a “critical” item for people with ALS.  (the topic for the groups were home care and of course toileting issues arose -- hence, the bidet talk)

I’d like to ask the group-- what your preferred bidet products?  Can you please share with the group your favorite ones and why???

I wish more Americans knew about this vital product and I’m hoping to spread the word via this listserv and a blog post with your responses.
