Hi Amy

Thanks for that info. I am quite happy to tinker  with Grids. I hadn’t wanted to alter the grids that he is currently using but given what you  have said, this sounds like the necessary approach.

Cheers

Jeremy

Subject: Re: Model Talker accessibility

Hi Jeremy,

I wanted to go to ModelTalker today and figure out what keyboard commands are required to open the drop-downs.  I won't have time though today so I wanted to at least let you know how you can approach this.

Use your own keyboard to achieve the actions with which your client is having trouble .  Sometimes drop-downs require the down arrow on your keyboard.  Experiment until you know which keys can be used and then any of these keyboard commands can be programmed into a customized onscreen keyboard in Grid3 that your client uses with ModelTalker.  The folks at Smartbox can help if you get stumped.  I will give you the name of someone I have worked with on similar issues if you need help.

Hi Jeremy.

Is it possible to install Dwell Clicker 2, thereby giving your client full computer access to launch chrome and head over to the model talker website directly? Thinking that if your client can use the computer control grid that this individual might be able to manipulate well clicker quite well.

Hi All

Wondering if someone has an ‘oven ready’ workaround for  this. I have a client who is using a Quha Zono head mouse with Grid3 and is managing well. But they are trying to access the Model Talker web site independently in order to bank in their own time, but the page set up does not appear to be allowing this, specifically access the choices within the drop down menus. I have also tried setting up a switch as a mouse click with the  Computer Control Grid, but this isn’t working either. Also can’t use the Grid’s built in browser App, because MT appears to require Chrome. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

Cheers

Jeremy
