I used the spring clamp plate kit switch mount from Modular Hose, the 24" one.  It has a plexiglas plate and I put dual lock on it and on my phone.  That's also what I've been using as an extra camera for remote sessions when I'm demonstrating equipment in my home office.

Thank you Stephanie, William and Lisa!  I think with your suggestions we have some nice options to provide my patient with head tracker access to his phone.  Lisa, which goose-neck mount are you using for your phone. I suggested a few to him today but wonder which you like.  Thanks again and I am so grateful to this listserv for filling in my knowledge gaps.  What would I do without all of you?!

In my (very limited) experience, AirMirror by AirDroid (https://www.airdroid.com/) should accomplish what you are looking for. It basically replicates the phone display on the computer screen, allowing you to control the phone from the computer. If I remember correctly, it can connect via WiFi (with a bit of latency) or USB (with a bit of tinkering).

Subject: Phone Access Ideas Needed for Head Tracker User

Hi List,

I have a patient who needs mouse access to his Android phone.  He uses a HeadMouse on his computer with dwell select.  I was wondering if anyone knows if you can mirror an Android onto a commuter screen AND actually control it from his computer screen.  While he uses voice recognition on his phone for many things he also needs mouse access.

Another option would be to get an OTG adapter and connect his phone to a head tracker.  He goes back and forth between phone and computer constantly so this would require the use of a second head tracker.  The family prefers the first option for obvious reasons but does anyone know if HeadMouse will work on an Android phone if you use an OTG adapter?  If not maybe a different head tracker offers a solution.  Thanks.

Stay safe, sane, and get some sun!

Amy
