Dragon 15 will do mouse commands by voice on Windows. However, very dynamic mouse commands can be tedious. I don't have time right now to really look at the site but it is possible that Dragon will do it. I actually think it's more than possible, I just think it might be too difficult especially if you are doing a lot of mouse movement.  If "show numbers" or "click… Whatever link" work and/or helpful it's probably also among the cheapest of the options that I would suggest.

He could also consider cheap eyegaze cameras if head mouse is not a good option. I'm not familiar with William’s suggestion below but mouth activated mouse such as tetra mouse or Integra might be an option?

Kelli,

I’m not familiar with voice-activated mouse solutions. If he has any interest in sip-and-puff style mouth controls, the LipSync from Makers Making Change is a really neat option for computer or phone contorl. (There are also a lot of options for getting them at little or no cost, even in the U.S.).

I know this group primarily focuses on PALS but you all are so tech savvy, I thought I’d ask about my pt with MS.

I have a veteran with MS who wants computer access to play games on this website: https://www.abovems.com/en_us/home/ms-wellness/brain-games.html

He has significant hand tremors and needs a hands free access method. His physician suggested a voice activated mouse. His wife has an android smartphone so she is familiar with Android OS. He is familiar with Windows OS. They need a tablet or laptop computer along with the voice activated mouse. His voice is strong and he doesn’t c/o vocal fatigue. His speech is 90% intelligible but does deteriorate mildly by late afternoon.  I’m not familiar with voice activated computer mice.  Does anyone have a recommendation? I had though about a gyroscopic mouse but he has widespread body pain and doesn’t believe he would utilize this type of access method.

Thank you

Kelli J.
