Just to clarify what I just wrote-
In order to create a synthesized voice, they would have an person/actor come in, and read special texts for at least 15 hours. I don’t if they provide this service to individuals.

Subject: RE: Question
Hi Ann-
Offhand, I couldn’t imagine that recording the lectures would be helpful. I think it would be more helpful to record small sound files, or use ModelTalker.
I think a CereProc (the Scottish company that synthesized Robert Ebert’s speech ) used lots of old recordings for him, but that was a special case. I think usually, they have a person come into their studio, and they do at least 15 hours of recording using professional audio equipment.
At this point in time, it doesn’t seem like there would be a benefit to recording these lectures (unless the content has emotional content for him.)

Subject: Question
I received this question for a person living outside The Chapter. Please give me your thoughts:
XX will be teaching a college class beginning today...daily, for two weeks. My sister asked me if there would be any benefit of recording those lectures of Seth's intelligible, strong speech at this time. If so, would you please list those benefits so I can share them with my nephew and his family?
In addition, if you believe this to be a good idea, can you suggest a recording system that would be appropriate in a college lecture situation?
Thanks in advance for your attention and any opinion.
Thanks in advance!!
