Try switch adaptive blue tooth speakers (Jabra) or a switch adaptive blue tooth ear pieces

Another resource: http://nobuttonsheadset.com/  this hands free set is activated magnetically

If you have Ameriphones available and the person you are helping does not have a landline and only has a cell phone, then you can still use the Ameriphone via a device called Cobra Phone Lynx.  The Cobra Lynx is fairly inexpensive and eliminates the need for a landline for those persons who only use cell phones and need a hands free option.  An OT for the MN chapter set one up with a sip and puff switch last year.  No phone cords into phone jacks are necessary to make this connection work, it is all via bluetooth.  There are 3 steps for setup: http://www.cobraphonelynx.com/set-up/ just replace the word “home phone” with “Ameriphone.”

Subject: hands-free phone options

Does anyone have an information sheet about hands-free telephone options that they would be willing to send to me?

xxxxxx@alsaohio.org

I am looking for options on cell phones as well as options for “land-lines”.

I am only familiar with the RC Dialogue 100 and 200 options that have been reliable in the past for landlines, but are much more difficult to locate at an affordable rate.

Our State Assistive Technology Program has not been easy to work with.

Thank you for your assistance.

Sincerely,
