Agreed with Anne.  If Reading is literally his only goal, download kindle software, and consider a “Commands only” Vocabulary (which may be better if voice gets weaker).  But DNS on the PC works with Kindle software with “Page up” and “Page Down” Commands.

 

If he gets to be a semi proficient mouse grid user, he should also be able to access the library and even shopping.

 

I am not aware of any voice recognition on any type of tablet that does this, and I have looked.
