I have had only one patient trial HandySpeech, and she didn't love it.  She complained that it just made too many errors in interpreting her handwriting.  She may have given up a bit quickly though, because I just noted today that the full version app has some sort of "AutoLearner" setting that she may or may not have had turned on.  It states that this "Autolearner" feature will "learn your handwriting patterns".

For what it's worth, I'm also wondering if the makers of Predictable (Therapy Box) didn't just buy or "borrow" the HandySpeech build design - because the write-to-speech screen in Predictable looks nearly identical to the HandySpeech layout.

I am also a big fan of Predictable, though still waiting anxiously for them to release the Predictable Version 4 for Android (currently only Predictable 3 is available).  I also find it somewhat frustrating that the Android version does NOT allow you to type messages from a bluetooth keyboard (bluetooth keyboard does work with iOS version).

Sorry no feedback for Handyspeech.  However, Predictable-4 for IOS and Predictable for Android have a write-to-speech feature with word prediction.

Hi all,

Does anyone have any input regarding the HandySpeech app?  I have a patient requesting a write-to-speech app and this is the only one I've come across.  Thanks in advance.
