I have a pALS with good speech clarity though soft voice who would like to continue using his computer.  if he were a Windows user, I'd look into Dragon Naturally Speaking as well as on-screen keyboard such as click n type and dwell software such as point n click or dwell clicker.  As far as I know, none of these runs on the Linux operating system.  Does anyone know of any programs that do run on Linux?

He may be a head mouse candidate as well, not sure at this time as our correspondence to date has been over the phone so I have not been able to observe his motor skills.

thanks,
Lisa
