thanks,I'm open to any suggestions.We have discussed an iPad w/bluetooth keyboard, which we may have to go to, but the pALS really wants a new Dynawrite. Does anyone have suggestions of similar options? I've looked into the Ubi Duo, but speech output is needed because the pt's husband is not functionally literate. The Fusion may be a possibility, but as the family is having difficulty paying bills, I'm not sure they have any money to spend, even as low as the $249 Fusion price tag is.I have a pALS who has been using a dynawrite from our loan closet for several months. She loves it because she is an older woman who was a secretary for many years and is able to type very quickly on the full-size keyboard. There are problems w/the device as it is old and Tobii Dynavox no longer has parts for repair and is not selling it or a similar device w/full size keyboard.
