I recommend remote door chimes. Less than $20 at home stores or Walmart.

I have had some reliability issues with adaptivation personal pagers.  I have more recently recommended RJ Coopers version, but do not have an opinion thus far about reliability.  Cheaper, but no vibration option.

What are people recommending these days for a switch adapted call button?
Thanks!

We have a bunch of wireless doorbells (can also just send the family to Home Depot or favorite hardware store).  Some of my pALS like the personal pager from adaptivation as the caregiver can just carry it around.

Amy Roman has good info about this on her website and Pinterest board.  amyandpals.com

Favorite call bell for in-home use that doesn’t require switch? I have a handful of Bulbar PALS that are not quick on their feet by any means but are 100% non verbal due to severity of dysarthria that require a loud call bell for home. I carry in our loaner closet some switch adapted call bells but end up having to check out unnecessary switches to patients that can just push a button. Anyone have a favorite?
