Hi Holly,
If you use a switch adapted call button, then you can plug in the appropriate switch, with the appropriate mounting/placement to meet this person’s needs.
The switch I used most frequently to activate a call button when a person was in bed was the pillow switch-

(There are two different kinds of pillow switches, the grey one is the one you want…)
There are a couple of ways you could mount the switch, depending on the person’s position and abilities.
(There are other switches that might be more appropriate if the person has very limited head movement.)
If it’s not self-evident how the person can activate the switch, is there an AT specialist or SLP at your agency who could do a switch assessment?
Take care,

Subject: Call button
I’m wondering if anyone could give me options on a call button for someone with use of their head only….he needs this button to help alert his caregivers.
