Does Select to Speak not work with Farsi on Ipad?  I do not have a good way of trialing this, but did not want to overlook a possibly simple solution…

Julia,

I have had this same problem with a patient who speaks Farsi. I was unable to find anything. We used Talking Tiles app and had a family member record each icon in their own voice/language. This only really worked due to patient having severe cognitive deficits and only using functional phrases.

Good luck!

Subject: text to speech apps available in Farsi?

I have a Farsi-speaking client with good use of R hand/arm.  Already owns an iPad.  I switched iPad keyboard to Farsi, which now allows her to type short messages in Farsi into the built-in Notes app (no voice output).

Does anyone know of any decent text-to-speech apps for Farsi speakers??

TIA. :)
