Of course you can call the manufacturer, but I doubt that they have this as an option.  

My next suggestion is if the PALS has foot mobility, maybe use the foot to turn the machine on/off?

Hello, I need help on switch adapting suggestions for a suction machine.  The pALS has enough UE movement to hold the suction wand, but turning the suction machine off and on is too hard.  It is a standard DeVilbiss home suction unit.
