Dragon Mobile assistant(App) has an “attentive mode” that will wake it up from dark screen.    It uses a lot of battery, so you may want an external battery charger.

Moto X phones have a wake up command without as much of a battery hit, but you have to buy that specific phone.

As always, I really rec that if someone can get a switch or activate a BT earpiece against a headrest, or a mouthstick to touch screen, it is beneficial.

Subject: voice commands for android

Any listservers working with Androids?  Can you give info on voice commands for Androids?

-------------------

I was looking for solutions to enable the use of voice commands for  PALS who can speak but can't move.

I am inquiring about enabling voice commands for ANDROID phones.

I found some tools, like Google now, but still they are thought for enabled users willing to save some time typing, not for truly disabled persons. And the greatest obstacle seems to be unlocking the phone.

If you have some reference about tools to enable voice commands, please let me know.
