Ms. Collier presents an overview of the communication access barriers and accommodations
required by people with complex communication needs (CCNs) when accessing legal/justice services.
She describes several communication support services as well as findings from a feasibility study in Canada designed to introduce communication intermediaries for people with CCN within legal/justice contexts.
A panel discussion will follow the presentation.
