Hi all,
The wonderful thing Margaret has done is designed a laser pointer for LowTechSolutions.org that is not just switch adapted but also latching. Now no third piece  of equipment (switch latch adapter) is needed to keep a laser pointer on. Users tap switch once for on and once for off. Looks like Margaret wants a chime to go off each time her user has something to say. Margaret, am I on the right track?

RJ Cooper makes this:

You may want to call him to make sure it works like you want.  I did this for a client a while ago and I am remembering that when switching between the switches one of the switches you can hold down as long as you want and the other is momentary?   So, I would talk it throught with RJ to make sure it will do what you want.  Also, he can probably change it for you.

Subject: One switch to activate 2 items

Hi – I’m wondering if anyone is aware of some type of control box that you could plug a switch into, and  it would allow the switch could control 2 separate items.  (I want the switch to be able to activate a switch adapted laser pointer, as well as a personal call button.)

I remember Minomech had something like this years ago, but I haven’t seen that company around for a while….

Thanks for any assistance with this! I appreciate it…
