On Mac,
I've had patients use Speak-It, TextSpeech Pro and Proloquo. None of them are especially great compared to what's available on SGDs. But your client will be able to "speak" easier than using the built-in "speak" command in a word processing doc on a Mac.

Thank you for your cooperation.Client is currently using Quha Zono head mouse to access his MacBook Pro laptop, and speech is minimally affected but will likely begin to deteriorate further very soon. He has stated he is not interested in dedicated SGD at this time. Would love to introduce at least the concept of communication software. Best recs for Mac laptop?
