Unless the phone is on that list it is a very good chance that it won't work.  I have tried several phones not on the list and have gotten varied results from it only being compatible to text messaging to dropping the Bluetooth signal so many times it becomes not worth it or not working at all.  Anytime someone asks me about using their cell phone with the TobiiDynavox  I series devices I tell them to make sure the phone they're going to pair is on that list.
