I am researching for a client the options in texting from a windows surface 4 pro via his iPhone cell with Verizon carrier. He uses a headmouse, is nonspeaking and uses Communicator 5 for speech output. He uses
So far, we have examined these options:
Verizon Messages or Message+ through Windows App store
Issues: Some conversations show both sides of the incoming and outgoing while other conversations only show the outgoing message and requires the user to look at the synced cell phone to see the incoming messages.
Google Voice:
Google voice may be an option. I use it quite a bit with the internet window open on my "desktop" to send messages to clients. It is a bit "clunky".
HangOuts: con- everyone in your "network" has to have the hangouts app.
