Adina,I like the Harmony Hub, but you cannot do everything via voice - unless I am missing something. You can only do activities and some additional commands like volume up/down, mute, etc.I have clients that want full control over their entertainment system via voice. If there is a way to do this with Harmony, I would love to know how.Sincerely,Antoinette Verdone, MSBME, ATPOwner, Rehabilitation EngineerImproveAbility, LLCOffice/Text: 512-522-1705Cell: 512-497-6026Email: xxxxxx@improveability.comFax: 888-501-10093310 W Braker Lane, Suite 300-424, Austin TX 78758TWC/HHSC Provider# 1-274278960-0-000

The Harmony hub. Is very easy to set up with Alexa and reasonably priced on Amazon. We had it up and running in less than 20 mins. Much easier to program than the blumoo. On Feb 23, 2017 8:41 PM, "Edward Hitchcock" <xxxxxx@ric.org> wrote:Google home "should" work with chromecast to control stuff like Netflix. As previously discussed the Voice IR allows for voice control of a TV (about $900??), and there are still some voice activated options out there for more $.
Grid software has a "Voice input" and options for IR output but I have not played with that at all.

I am waiting on my Anymote to come - I got one today, but it came damaged!!!
As soon as I am able to test it I will report back.
Can you all explain how the X-box setup works?

I know this group had a discussion a couple of weeks ago about using the Echo for controlling a TV remote. I know Antoinette asked if anyone knew of any other device besides the Blu Moo to use but I didn’t see a response.
Has anyone tried Google Home with another device to operate a TV remote?
We have a significant number of people that can still speak but don’t have hand function. They want voice recognition access to their TV and since they don’t have an SGD I am trying to find alternatives for them.
Any recommendations appreciated.
