Hi   Amy   I would love to have a copy of your AlphaCore as I think I used the version on the DynaVox’s.  I just received a Windows Surface Pro and so this would be great.

Hi Erica,

AlphaCore is a Windows TTS app which I designed for people with ALS.

I am happy to send any SLP/AT Specialist or Demo Center a full version of the app for their demonstration tablets or Windows SGDs.

Patients can download a free version at the Windows app store and begin customizing it and installing the Message Banking recordings at the first sign of speech change.  If they ever need it and decide to upgrade to the full version, all their customizations and recordings from the trial version are preserved.

Disclaimer- as mentioned.  I did develop this app with Clever Monkey Development.  Those developers previously worked at DynaVox and ERICA.

Let me know if anyone wants a Demo Copy.  I am collecting feedback this month of March and any experts with demo copies, who fills out a 3 question survey on AC, will receive one free copy for a client.

Sincerely,

Amy Roman, MS, CCC-SLP

I have a table for iPad/iPhone and Android apps but this list-serv does not allow attachments.  If you want a copy, email me directly and I'll send it.

Hi all,

Do you have a simple list of text to speech apps for iPad/iPhone, Android, and Windows. I'm trying to make a nice single page handout and I feel like I've got loads of outdated or maybe not user friendly stuff. Would love to hear your favorites. Thank you!
