Hi Stephanie,
FYI-I didn't get any responses emailed to me directly with suggestions to this question and as you know there were no responses to the group.  Maybe someone has found something in the last few months.

Subject: RE: Vietnamese TTS?

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone responded to this previous thread but I am now in the same boat with needing to find a Vietnamese text to speech option; specifically something that would run on a Windows based OS so it can be paired with eye gaze.

Any thoughts or information on this would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

Subject: Vietnamese TTS?

Hi,
I am striking out in my efforts to find Vietnamese text to speech.   Has anyone been able to find this?  Vietnamese uses an alphabet not characters so I thought it would be easier to find Vietnamese synthesized speech.

I found one website eSpeak: Speech Synthesizer which is open source speech synthesizer software and SAPI 5 compatible.  Sounds promising.  Perhaps someone more tech savvey could explain how I might harness this or hopefully have  a more out-of-the-box type solution.

Text Box:

eSpeak: Speech Synthesizer

Thanks.
