Hello everyone,
I am trying to get a good comparison of different EMG switches to find the best choice for a client. Problem is, I only have experience with the wired older Neuroswitch by Control Bionics and nothing more. I don't believe Control Bionics is compatible with Windows products yet-just Mac OS and now iPad's. Looking for ANY feedback of any EMG switches available on the market today. I understand the switch might not be appropriate for the client currently, but want to ensure I'm researching this specific activation method as fully as possible (and for future cases and knowledge).
Details:
Current Setup: Tobii I-12 using eyegaze, current activation method gumball switch or dwell.
EMG potential location: Forearm (unknown yet whether anterior or posterior), but plan to possibly move to locations above neck (?)
Here is what I found available that might work with the Windows OS running on a Tobii I-series:
Questions:
1) Am I missing any EMG Manufacturer(s) from my online searches?
2) Has anyone used any EMG switch with the Tobii I-series device? Feedback?
I appreciate any help in this, thank you!! Please feel free to private email me as well!!
