Hi Amy,

We have FEES available in our ALS clinic. I don't use it regularly unless it's necessary, but I'd be willing to look over the study and see if it's something I could help out with. Is the drug Nuedexta?

They can email me at rsb7xxxxxx@virginia.edu

Thanks,
Renee

Hi,
I have been asked by our research nurse to find out if there are any SLPs at ALS clinics that do FEES routinely and might have an interest in a small, one center pilot study to see if a drug might help swallowing in ALS?

The company is legitimate and our clinic is working with them on another study.  This would be a small proof-of-concept study.

Contact me directly if you are interested and I will forward your response to our research nurse.  Thanks.
