I have patient who
was born in the Republic of Georgia. She is proficient in spoken English.
However, she is less proficient when spelling in English.
Through an MDA grant she has obtained a
Lightwriter. Her speech is becoming more and more impaired.
Is there software that she could use to
enter her original language and that would translate to English? Could this
software be used with a Lightwriter or would she need a different
communication device?
Thank you in advance for any advice. The
collective information from this group is always so
valuable.
