I am trying to figure out the most suitable mount for an ALS user with the Permobile C300 who is requesting a VMAX with head mouse and future use of eye gaze. He identified the daessy Positioner but I actually am not familiar with that mount. My guess is a choice between the folding mount and the swing away, but that is because I am familiar with those two. He drives his chair still with a right sided joy stick and of course has concern that the mount may not fit through doorways. We can measure for that and I am guessing we will be o.k with either of the two. But I am wondering what mounts have proven most effective with caregivers for PALS, considering they will be doing the transfers.
any input from more experienced hands? the mounts just throw me.
