Some interesting info in
the RJ Cooper newsletter for this month. Thought it might be of some
interest to the group.

Subject: More iPad Stuff (and iPad vs. netbook
comparison)

Hi
AT (Assistive Tech.) enthusiasts!
More iPad stuff. I
finally finished my iPad versus netbook comparison.
The winner?
iPad! Even though you won't be using my software (yet!) on
it,
it's a great product, and the software that exists for it already
is
great! I reference the different AAC programs that I'm aware
of, on the
comparison page at:
http://rjcooper.com/ipad-vs-netbook
And
let's stay on the iPad for another moment, as I've made yet
more
accessories for it! I've updated the iPad Stand
page:
http://rjcooper.com/ipad-stand
And the
iPad Mounts page, showing a MUCH less expensive, yet valid
alternative
to my Device Adapter (some salesman *I* turned out to be!
Promoting
LESS expensive alternatives! Oops! I did it again ;-)
Promoting myself! <grin>

And for
protection, there is my Bumper Case at:
http://rjcooper.com/ipad-bumper-case
And
finally, and MOST NOTABLY, my new iPad Speaker. VERY important,
as
the iPad itself, in my opinion, is simply not Loud ENOUGH
:)

And
I am working on a shoulder-strap carry case, to carry, protect,
and
*use* the iPad while on the go!
That's it :)
