Hi Alisa, according to the reminder below there was to be a “formal” call for abstracts for the conference in November. I have seen it. If you received one can you forward it to me?

Thanks

Heads up!

This is an early warning of the call for abstracts for the 2011 Allied Professionals Forum to be held in Sydney, Australia on 29 November 2011.

Make a difference to people with ALS/MND, and those that care for them by sharing your experiences and knowledge

The usually rapid and relentless progression of ALS/MND poses huge problems of adjustment for people with ALS/MND, escalating burden on carers and families and a real challenge to health and social care professionals in their ability to provide effective and responsive care management across agency boundaries.

That is why it is so important for health and social care professionals to help each other by sharing good practice.  The International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations invites health and social care professionals to come to Sydney and share experiences in an informal setting with their international peers.

The formal call for abstracts will be issued on 23 April with submission required by 28 May 2011
