I think you have brought up a really valid issue here, as use of the ipad for communication has grown and grown. So far, we loan them and do allow clients to download onto it what ever they wish, because I do want them to get see what the ipad can do for them, for example making use of photos, e-mail, etc,  but I delete any personal info on its return to me.

We certainly do need to consider loan agreements in more depth, other than our generic one for communication aids that we have here, so anyone else’s experience would be great,

To those AT folks that have purchased iPads and use them as part of a loaner closet...do any of you have a loaner agreement for iPads?  I have a typical DME/AT loaner agreement form but was wondering if any of you did one specifically for iPads?  (like do you or do you not allow personal stuff on them like music, videos, etc...)

 

If you have developed a loaner agreement for iPads, will you share?
