Hello all,
I received this email from Steve Parker from
the ALS Association in Georgia. If any of you are interested in
getting an Impulse Switch, please contact him directly. I told him
that I really have not had to use a switch with PALS since eye gaze became
so readily available. Yes, sometimes the only option is switching,
but I often can use another type of switch besides an Impulse.

Subject: Question about the
"Impulse" switch
The people who manufacture this switch in
Atlanta have run into problems, as AbleNet has not continued their
distribution agreement and sales have not gone as planned. I'd like to find
out if possible approx. how many of the Impulse switches (all of our ALSA
AT chapters combined) have purchased.
For them to make ONE more
batch they need a minumum of 20 units, so I would F/U with any of the
chapters that have used them in the past, and "maybe" garner enough units
to add up to 20. Can you help me out with this?
Thanks, I'd greatly
appreciate any information you have on these switches and their
use
