Yes, you have to purchase
service. You have the option of paying for a
month
(say you are going to be traveling) but you have to remember to stop the
service or you keep getting a recurrent bill. I believe it is
$60. Lisa M. Bruening, M.S.,

[mailto:xxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Erin Singleton All this Ipad talk has motivated me to finally
purchase
one for our clinic to demo to patients considering it as an
option. As I was on Apple’s website ordering one it gave
me
the choice of Wifi alone or Wifi with 3G. Of course I’m thinking
we’d want 3G in case we need internet access outside WiFi zones but
can
someone tell me if you have to pay a monthly service fee (like you do on
your
Iphone) to have 3G as an option? I’m not sure how I’d maneuver
that
with my company. Your input is
appreciated! Erin Singleton M.A., CCC-SLP ________________________________
