Not here. 14
of our active ALS patients are using an iPad with TTS software for
communication purposes at this time. Of them, 2 have been going
strong for nearly a year and another 5 have been working well for 6
months. We often recommend screen protectors but I canât say
that everyone gets one. I canât imagine how the screen would
actually âwear outâ. Does it lose touch accuracy or
sensitivity?

Sorry for the cross post. I just received a call from a Dynavox Rep.
explaining an ALS Clinic ( she did not name) was no longer recommending
patients use iPad because of the screen wearing out following 2 months of
use. Anyone running across this
issue?
Thanks,

Here are a
few more to add to the list.
I have a
PALS who is using Auto Verbal Pro ($9.99) and likes it better than
Proloquo2go. PredictAble ($159.99) is an app that recently came out
and offers switch access.

Thanks,
From the screen shot it appears very simple and
user friendly.
On another note, does anyone have a recent, updated
list of all the speech apps available out there? Mine is a bit old and out
of date!
