Hi everybody,
Does anyone know of any cell phones that have a text-to-speech feature or app that could be used for communication, other than the iPhone? I’ve had a few PALS who want to carry a single device for TTS, text messages, etc, but don’t want to switch their phone service to AT&T.
It seems like there are quite a few phones that offer TTS to read incoming text messages and emails, but not many (if any?) that will speak text typed in by the user himself. The LG Voyager (Verizon) does it as part of its Notepad tool, but it has been discontinued. It seems like the TTS app for Blackberry has also been discontinued, although it sounded like that one was never very good in the first place. Has anyone come across other phones with other carriers?
