I am wondering if anyone has had luck getting just the “eye
gaze” portion of the Eyemax as a loaner before.
I have a PALS patient in ICU right now that already has a DynaVox Vmax
but can no longer access it via his head mouse because of a decline in head
and neck movement. He only has medicare and is getting placed in a subacute
home upon discharge so getting
funding for the eyemax may not be feasible.
I’d love to get him a loaner EyeMax accessory if possible to
allow him to communicate. They do not have funds to purchase one out of
pocket or pay the copay.
Any suggestions welcome please.
