I do find that quite frequently--and these are people not on a vent.  We have quite a few people with inconsistant blinks and can not use a blink system for yes or no.  (so we give them targets instead--holding out my arm, I say to the pALS to look at my hand)

I was wondering-

I have worked with a few people who were not on a vent, but whose eye movements seemed to have slowed down a bit, and become inconsistent… (These were individuals who had very advanced ALS…)

I was wondering if other folks on the list had worked with many PALS who weren’t on a vent, but had impaired eye movements-

Thanks!
