As far as I know, none of these programs will work in Windows 7 (yet)

Subject: two questions for the group

I received two emailes from patients that I am looking for help with please.

1.  Also, I checked out the excel "text to speech" capability (interesting), E-Triloquist, and the NextUp Talker free trial.  The later doesn't appear to have the capability of starting and stopping within a paragraph of text, say to support a slide presentation where you might want this type of control.  Do any of the software packages have that feature?  Anyone have any input?

2.  ...we're going to get her a new mini computer, basically so it can speak for her.  Issue being, I wanted to be sure of the operating system.  Most new computers have Windows 7 & I wanted to know if the downloadable programs from you guys is compatible w/ that, or if we need to get Vista or XP.

Any help the group can provide will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Alisa
