The U.S. Access Board and the Chief Information Officers Council will conduct an online listening session on September 8, 2011 from 2 - 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The forum will discuss ways to improve access to information technology (IT) by people with disabilities in the federal sector. Participants will be able to suggest ways the federal government can improve how it buys and uses accessible technology under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
