actually,
that is how alternate access methods and switches are coded... use E2599.

Hi
Nancy-
Thanks
for the thought-
E2599
is specifically an accessory for a speech generating device, not otherwise
coded. (So I dont think I could use that code
)
Maybe
I need to look at a closer definition of the word
electronic

What
if you used the same code as for switches, since it is an access
method?
I
just recd an email for a DME administrator, asking for the HCPC code
for a communication board and a laser pointer.
I
know that the HCPC code for a communication board is E1902
E1902-
COMMUNICATION BOARD, NON-ELECTRONIC AUGMENTATIVE OR ALTERNATIVE
COMMUNICATION DEVICE
I
dont know think a laser pointer would fit into that. (Its
pretty much an accessory for a low tech board).
Has
anyone ever had to supply a HCPC code for a laser pointer?
Thanks for your help with this-
