To
keep going on the progressively more expensive
options… Particularly
if he is using a joystick mouse. He should consider smartlists from
AHF. http://ahf-net.com/smart_lists.htm
The
idea is that he will not have to traverse as much distance with each click,
since when he clicks on a given letter, the smart list will appear under
the mouse, vs. having to traverse back and forth across the keyboard.
Most expensive option so far but also offers a 30 day demo. To echo
Margaret, if he really is dependent on it, it may be worth the $529
investment. If
possible, he really should cycle through all of the different software
progressively using each 30 day demo before he settles on an
investment. The
same company offers Soothsayer word prediction which is quite comparable to
the goq link that Antoinette cited. Just to also add that you have to
change an option to have GoQ display horizontally vs
vertically. Ed

is relatively pricey ($350), but it has excellent word completion and word
prediction… If
this person is depending on it for communication and needs real rate
enhancement, it may be worthwhile to make the investment. (A 30 day
demo is available if you want to check it out.) Margaret
