Edward Hitchcock-

Our facility, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, provides out-patient AAC evaluations and training for people of all diagnoses (and has since the mid-1980’s).  If this family is interested in our services, they can call our Out-Patient Admissions dept at 610-640-3943.  We have a good inventory of switches and devices, and our staff could investigate the Audeo if it seems appropriate.  We are located half-way between Wilmington DE and Philadelphia, in Malvern PA

Subject: [Assistive Technology] Wilmington Delaware- just south of Philadelphia

Sorry for cross post.

Hello all, just took a call from someone who is looking for an AAC specialist for his wife, with advanced Multiple sclerosis.  I am posting to the ALS list, as it sounds like this lady is very similar in function.  Extremely limited motion, (occasional eye blink and occasional moans).  We were discussing options that were available, and it sounds like they might benefit from an AAC eval.  I suggested P-Switch, possible eye blink etc.  They are also potentially interested in pursuing the Audeo.

Is there anyone who is available closer to them that might be able to see her?  Feel free to respond off list to me directly.  Thanks, Ed
