Hi Mary,
Please take a picture of it with your phone when your client receives it and email it over to me.  I will post it with the AT 400 info on Pinterest under "call chimes" so all of us can easily share it with pALS and their families.  Philips has never given us a good website for this offering and most people don't know it exits.  Thanks so much for the update Mary!

Sincerely,

I just got a bit more information regarding the Phillips Lifeline I would like to pass along.  Apparently, when you place the order you need to request an AT 400 and indicate the switch you desire  as Amy described in the previous response.  There is no additional  charge for the switch or the AT 400 unit.  It is about the size of a deck of cards and the technician did not know if it could be worn or not.  It has 2 port holes and a 9 volt battery so it is portable.  I will be ordering one so I will let you know how it works.  It is not available on the website to view.

Thanks for the initial information on this unit.
Mary

There are very few systems that do not at least have a ‘universal transmitter’ to allow functions like flood detection and door monitoring, from non-proprietary sensors to be included, and these can always be adapted to connect to any switch.

The companies I have called do have switch adaptable options, but you typically have to talk to multiple people going up the chain to find someone who knows that they offer it.

Does anyone know if there is a version of LifeLine (or other method of calling in emergencies) that is switch-accessible?
