I received this today and it reminds me of Caring Bridge and some of the other sites out there.  Anyone have any opinions?

Thanks

I am contacting you to get your professional opinion about a possible tool
I have adapted to help a friend with ALS.

BACKGROUND
I have taken a program application and turned it into a possible solution
for those who are ill or disabled (and their caregivers).

My care program includes a feature that enables users (like my friend) to
post narrated update videos to their website via their Mobile Phone (e.g.,
"I just came back from the Mayo Clinic and.....etc."). His family and
friends can follow his postings by going to the website.

Alternatively, his family and friends can post THEIR video messages of
support via their Mobile device on the website. It is therefore a video
support tool via phone or tablet.

It is a helpful alternative for those who are no longer able to use a
computer or laptop. For example, we are having success with chemo patients
who like to post updates, but are too sick to use a computer.

EXAMPLE
You can see how the program works in the short video at
www.phonevideoapps.com

Please bear in mind that this illustration is a BUSINESS example. An
adaptation for my suggested purpose could be made.

SHARE THE CARING
My 'complete' program offers more features in addition to our phone video
application. For details, please see

YOUR INPUT REQUESTED
I would deeply appreciate your input whether or not to proceed with an
adaptation of
www.phonevideoapps.com  for  the ALS community.

I am very concerned to suggest to my friend well-intentioned, but
ill-advised and impractical solutions

Thank you again for taking the time. Please let me know what you think.
