Subject: 24th International Symposium on ALS/MND

I am delighted to let you know about the First Announcement and Call for Abstracts for the 24th International Symposium on ALS/MND.  The meeting will take place in Milan, Italy from 6 - 8 December 2013.

The Symposium will incorporate the following:

The ever-growing size of this meeting generates a critical mass of ALS/MND researchers and practitioners that is conducive to the planning and announcement of major breakthroughs. Younger investigators have the opportunity to hear and meet with the leading international ALS/MND specialists as well as highlighting their own approaches through platform and poster presentations in the same sessions.

In addition to the numerous satellite meetings and workshops preceding the symposium, the Allied Professionals’ Forum will take place on 5 December 2013. Details of this meeting and the full symposium programme will be available in August, which will include the registration forms and accommodation information.

Should you wish to submit an abstract for consideration as a platform or poster presentation, I would draw your attention to the Conditions for Acceptance summarised on the First Announcement.

I do hope you will be able to join us in Milan.  If, in the meantime, you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact Pam Aston, Conference Manager, on
