I asked my Tobii rep if the PC Eye was shipping and here is his response:

 

The PCEye Go is shipping. The wait time is approx 3 weeks upon receipt of a paid Order at the Dedham office.

 

As this catches on which it is, Tobii will need to ramp up production to meet demand.

 

The product actually ships out of the office in Dedham.

 

Did I answer you clearly? I'm trying to give you the best info do you can pass it on to your clients.

 

FYI for patients with ALS they would do well to also order:

Tobii Communicator at $699

Sono Key at $249

TIRA 2 Kit at $99

 

This will give them eye access to:

Communication

Internet

Email

And their windows programs they may already have on their computers 

And environmental control of TV and IR controlled devices like DVD player, fans. Etc
