Join The ALS Association for a Facebook Live Presentation with Dr. Terry Heiman-Patterson, Professor of Neurology and Director of the ALS Center of Hope at Temple University this Thursday,
7/19, at 4pm EST. She will address upper extremity muscle function and how to maximize quality of life and independence while living with ALS. Also presenting with Dr. Patterson will be Sara Feldman, DPT, PT, ATP, Physical Therapist with the ALS Center of
Hope at Temple University.
The topic of the presentation is “Promoting Independence”.
A few things to know about the Facebook Live event:
● There will be a 30-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.
● Anyone with a Facebook account can attend the Facebook Live presentation by signing into their personal Facebook account
and navigating to the National ALS Association page at
https://www.facebook.com/alsassociation/
● You may ask a question two ways: in advance by e-mailing Alisa Brownlee at xxxxxx@alsa-national.org or during the presentation by typing questions into the “comment section” during the actual presentation.
● The presentation will be recorded and will later be sent to Chapter Care Service staff as well as achieved on the National ALSA Facebook page.
