DO NOT INSTALL THE WINDOWS 8.1 UPGRADE

 

On October 18, 2013, Microsoft will release Windows 8.1 software.  This free upgrade is optional.  PRC STRONGLY SUGGESTS THAT YOU DO NOT 
INSTALL THE WINDOWS 8.1 UPGRADE at this time.

Our current Windows 8 devices ship with Windows 8.0 and installing the 8.1 upgrade will overwrite 8.0 and all PRC customizations will be lost.  PRC is working on a patch for the Windows 8.1 upgrade and you will be notified as soon as the patch is available.

NOTE:  The Windows 8.1 upgrade only applies to integrated devices (unlocked devices that run Windows applications).
